Lib is a beautiful solid jet black mare with a quiet
disposition, and like her 1/2 sister
Castle Hill Dainty, she is a daughter of the Supreme Champion stallion Heltondale
Bellman V
(by Tebay Campbell Ton Victor). Both Lib and Dainty had their manes
pulled off
via barbed wire before we imported them in 2003, but they have grown back with a vengeance! Lib
is
a very true-to-type, traditional Fell pony with lots of bone and feather and
great
movement. She has also been started under saddle. Lib
was raised on the Cumbrian fells before joining Dainty at Castle Hill Farm in
the
Yorkshire Dales (on the eastern slopes of the Pennine Range).
