(Top Right) Union Jack (pictured at 1 1/2 years old) has an exquisite "pony" head and face, like both of his parents.  Overall he closely resembles his famous sire, Waverhead Robbie. 

(Above and Left) Union Jack as a 2 y.o.  He has abundant silky feather and mane.  The red highlights in his mane from his baby coat are growing out, and he is otherwise jet black.
 

Laurelhighland Union Jack, a stunning 2-year-old stud colt, is a wonderful example of the breed - jet black, beautiful conformation and movement, great hair and good bone! He also has a very kind and sensible temperament, typical of the breed. Union Jack represents the "union" of 2 great stallion lines - Waverhead Model IV (his maternal grandsire) and Waverhead Robbie.
